An adventure you will remember forever! When you want to get away from it all, enjoy the day with your family as you float down the Colorado River together. Your day begins at the base of the Hoover Dam. This is an extremely rare view of the Hoover Dam that very few people have the opportunity to see.
As you float down the Colorado River, you will see Black Canyon, the “most scenic portion of the Colorado River”. This canyon, formed by the Colorado River, lies just below the mighty Hoover Dam where the canyon walls rise nearly 2,000 feet from the rivers edge.
During this excursion, our experienced and knowledgeable guides will share the history of this glorious ecological area with you. The high canyon walls will leave you stunned by their absolute beauty. Have your camera ready to photograph Desert Big Horn Sheep, Osprey, and Great Blue Heron in their natural settings.
Our rafts will stop along the shore to give you a chance to swim or play in the cool clear waters below Hoover Dam. You can take this opportunity to enjoy the box lunch provided while watching and listening to the sights and sounds of this magnificent desert. Be sure to bring a change of clothing if you plan to take a dip!
Your day of rafting concludes in Arizona, where you will board your motorcoach for your return trip to Las Vegas.
